The business purpose of Nica's Coffee is to satisfy the demand of a customer who is well-acquainted with the superior quality of a fine gourmet coffee. Therefore, we are truly committed to bring our customers specialty coffees from exceptional beans grown only in ideal climates and highly efficient production installations like our farms, mill, and roasting plant. Our Quality Control starts with our shade grown and manually sorted beans by specially trained workers. Our coffees tend to feature distinctive flavors, which are shaped by the unique characteristics of the soil that produces them. Our specialty coffees are produced according the international guidelines of Specialty Coffees Association of America (SCAA).

Before roasting our beans, the Master Cupper tastes the coffee beans in order to identify special characteristics and make a profile based on our customer specific need. Our coffee is roasted according to the profile determined during the cupping process.

Our installations and packaging process fulfill all sanitary requirements. Our gourmet coffee is packed in Foil Gusseted Bags with one way degassing valve that preserves our coffee from any foreign matter, air, and light to guarantee a fresh flavor.

Additionally, our strict Quality Control Management is based on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Sanitation Operation Standards. We have been registered under the Food and Drugs Administration to export our products to the U.S. Currently, our company is preparing to meet HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) measures and policies to obtain this certification.

Due to our excellent social, environmental, and production management our farms are certified under Starbucks Quality Certification: Cafe Practice (Preferred Vendor).
