Cafetalera Castellon represents a tradition that leaps in our time founded by John Castellon. During all his life, John has been involved in coffee production and processing as a member of a traditional coffee farmers family. In year 1942, his grandfather Don Jacinto Lopez acquired properties in the North of Nicaragua, and decided to become a coffee-grower. He started along with his wife Angelita, the hard tasks of sowing and establishment in the coffee estates: "La Viola" and "San Martin". They even had to transport their harvests with animal traction because of the harsh conditions of the roads.

Cafetalera Castellon started selling Fortuna and Tesoro Coffee at an independent coffee kiosk in 2001 at the Managua International Airport, Nicaragua. With a focus on service and customer relationships, Cafetalera Castellon was determined to differentiate our coffee products from the other options available in the market. We wanted our customers to identify real gourmet coffee with our beautiful country and a specific definition of quality. That is a coffee with a distinctive flavor, body, and aroma that meet the standards of the most demanding and sophisticated taste.
